A lot of people ask me (or josh me) about my shop name "Feminine Genius"... wellll...
It doesn't refer to me being a genius unfortunately ;)

This phrase, coined by Pope John Paul II, is delightful description of the essence and dignity of womanhood ! It recognizes and celebrates the sensitivity.. faith.. intuitiveness.. generosity.. mystery.. vibrance.. fidelity.. insight.. inspiration.. hope.. love and inner peace, that IS every woman. My jewelry strives to reflect and celebrate these qualities in everyone who wears and shares it.

My shop was especially inspired by my Gramma, who was such a special lady, and a genuine touchstone for so many people. She's the one who got me started in beading as a kid, and then was my bead-buddy (or partner in crime ;). I have so many precious memories of sitting with her at the kitchen table, making jewelry, drinking coffee and just living life. This shop is dedicated to her, I know she'd be so tickled to see it !

It's also dedicated to my awesome Husband, ever-loving and supportive, who never yells when he sees beads in the mailbox, or scattered over any horizontal surface in the house. He truly brings out the qualities of Feminine Genius in me !

OK, enough chatting, Grab a cup of coffee and come play with the beads on my kitchen table ! :)
